MAME44 Day 1
On Wednesday I packed up my suitcase and headed to downtown Lansing for the MAME44 Conference MAME is the Michigan Association for Media in Education (a strong focus on school librarians.) I do not travel much for work, but I really enjoy attending this conference as I will learn a great deal and bring back many new ideas for the library at Carlson High School.
The conference truly kicks off on this morning. I spent some time Wednesday walking around Lansing, checking out some of the vendors, and enjoying dinner and some live jazz music. I present on later, so be sure to look for my day two update. This will be my first presentation to a state-wide organization. I am very excited, and a little nervous.
